Welcome to the 15th International Conference on Public Health among Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries (15th ICPH-GMS)
Dear network members and colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 15th International Conference on Public Health among the Greater Mekong Sub-Regional Countries (15th ICPH-GMS). This prestigious event will be hosted by Kunming Medical University in Kunming, China, from October 23rd to 26th, 2025.
Under the theme "Building a Regional Health Community: Challenges and Innovations in Public Health," the conference aims to address the current public health challenges facing the GMS countries — Thailand, Vietnam, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Cambodia, and China. This conference serves as a pivotal platform for exchanging scientific research ideas, sharing innovative solutions, and discussing regional health policies that aim to improve health equity for all people in the region.
The conference will bring together talents in public health with the goal of fostering collaboration, advancing research, and strengthening partnerships across the GMS countries. Furthermore, it provides an excellent opportunity for students and young academics to present their findings and experiences, contributing to the development of the public health community.
Since its establishment in 2012, the Greater Mekong Sub-Region Public Health Academic Network has been dedicated to promoting education, research, and advocacy in public health across the region. This conference, which marks the third time Kunming Medical University serves as the host, continues to play a vital role in uniting institutions and advancing the region's health goals.
